HMSDesign’s Callie Sullivan

Honored as 2016 Woman of Distinction

Fairfield, CONN., – May 10, 2016 —  HMSDesign, a branding and packaging firm specializing in the development and management of brand imagery, announced that Callie Sullivan, vice president of sales, HMSDesign, was recently honored as a 2016 Woman of Distinction by the YWCA of Darien/Norwalk.

“Callie is an example of leadership for women of all ages and she works to find the best outcomes for women, children and families in the great Connecticut community,” said former Darien Board of Education running mate, Shannon Silsby, who nominated Sullivan.

The Women of Distinction Award is bestowed in recognition of the outstanding achievements of a select group of women. Each year the YWCA honors women who epitomize community leadership through their tireless non-profit work and contributions. Local residents and business owners nominate women whose significant and unique contributions have made a difference in their local communities.

“Social change takes more than a village,” said Sullivan upon receiving her award. “It takes a particular brand of hopeful belief in the possibility of progress, and the stubborn tenacity to work together to solve a problem.”

The 2016 Women of Distinction Awards & Luncheon was held at the Woodway Country Club in Darien on May 5, 2016.
